Dear Patron

Please be informed that download manager or any computer program to accelerate download speeds by downloading from multiple sources at once is not supported. Software such as Download Accelerator Plus (also known as DAP) which uses multipart download to increase speeds, creating multiple connections of different file segments to speed up downloads is not permitted on this site.

Dear Patrons

The Interlibrary Loan Service (ILS) supports research needs of OUM’s students, faculty and staff by obtaining materials which are not available at OUM Digital Library. Before you may request for Inter-Library Loan, the said book must not be available at Tan Sri Dr. Abdullah Sanusi Digital Library either in Printed Form or Electronic Format. You will have to verify that a book is not available in our collection. If you haven’t already done so, the first step is to confirm that we do not have a copy of the book you need. You can do this using the online catalogue.

What Items may be requested for Interlibrary Loan

  • Items not owned by Open University Malaysia
  • Items not available in Library Databases (Digital Collections)
  • Items missing from Library Collections

Items may not be requested for Interlibrary Loan

  • Items published in the current calendar year.
  • Items owned by Open University Malaysia (unless all copies are lost or missing).
  • Items available in Library Databases (Digital Content)
  • Bound periodicals and magazines
  • Ebooks and downloadable audio.
  • Musical recordings, software, or video recordings in any format.
  • Non circulating materials (Reference and Thesis)
  • Novels or any leisure reading materials

Patrons may request for ILS by using this form. Request via phone and emails are not permitted.

Dear Valued Patrons

Please be informed that all Past Year Questions before the last 2 semesters have been removed due to the new policy approved by the management. For enquiries, please contact Assessment & Examination Department at 03-2773-2002.

Dimaklumkan bahawa mulai semester Januari 2012, hanya dua (2) set soalan peperiksaan untuk setiap kursus bagi dua semester yang terakhir akan dipaparkan di portal myLibrary.

Keputusan di atas yang diluluskan oleh Mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Akademik Universiti 3/2012 pada 13 Februari 2012, bertujuan memastikan soalan peperiksaan dapat digunakan untuk bank soalan yang kini giat dibangunkan oleh OUM.

Pihak OUM berharap para pelajar faham akan sebab bagi keputusan di atas dan kami memohon maaf atas segala kesulitan yang dihadapi.

Dear Patrons

It has come to our attention that some of our papers have been distributed freely to the internet. We take this matter seriously. To avoid further distribution, we have no choice but to enforce security measure. All users are required to login to the Library via myVLE to view and download Past Year Question Papers.

Other policies for Past Year Question Papers remain in force:

  • All examination papers will be made available after 1 semester.
  • No answer scripts or answers for all Examination Questions.
  • All MCQ based Papers will not be made available.

Dear Patrons

Library patrons must come in person and present a valid Open University Malaysia Student Card or Staff Card to check out books. Any book may be recalled after 14 days, regardless of the loan period, if it is requested by an OUM student, staff or faculty member.

Overdue fines are charged for RM 0.50 per item per day. Patrons will be billed replacement costs, including a RM25.00 processing fee, for significantly overdue books.

Loan Facility is not extended to Tutors, SMEs and facilitators.
