Malaysian Journal of Learning and Instruction (MJLI)

Malaysian Journal of Learning and Instruction (MJLI) is abstracted in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) since 2016 and Scopus 2012. It is a double-blind peer reviewed, international academic journal published biannually (June and December) by Universiti Utara Malaysia. 

 The aims of the journal are to communicate research and stimulate discussion, study and critique of teaching and learning, and to encourage scholarly writing on learning and instruction. Coverage of MJLI includes, but is not limited to critical examination of ecosystems and issues surrounding the processes of meaningful teaching and learning and better educational practices. These could be addressed at micro level (e.g., innovative modes of delivery, instructional design and technology, learning engagement, instructional settings) or at macro level (e.g., motivation, engaging curriculum, impact of socio-psychological and cultural factors on learning).

It is a double-blind peer reviewed, international academic journal published quarterly (January, April, July and October) by Universiti Utara Malaysia.This journal covers all aspects of information and communication technology, its theories and applications. The aim of this journal is to provide coverage of the most significant research and development in the area of information and communication technology. To be accepted, a paper must be judged to be truly out standing in its field and to be of interest to a wide audience. We are particularly interested in work at the boundaries, both the boundaries of subdisciplines of information and communication technology and the boundaries between information and communication technology and other fields. This is an open access journal. The articles on this site are available in full-text and free of charge to our web visitors.

Asean Journal of Open and Distance Learning (AJODL)

The ASEAN Journal of Open and Distance Learning (AJODL) is dedicated to the sharing of knowledge, ideas and experience pertaining to Open and Distance Learning (ODL). The journal, launched on 12 August 2009, is an outcome a collaborative effort between three universities: Open University Malaysia (OUM), Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU) and University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU).

The premier issue was printed to mark its inauguration of the journal. In 2015, Hanoi Open University (HOU) and Indonesia Open University (known as Universitas Terbuka Indonesia or UT) joined the collaboration. Subsequently, the online journal issues are published under the Editor-in-Chief, a position that is rotated among the journal’s Publication Committee Chairpersons. The editorial members consist of academics from all five universities. These universities are also members of a joint collaborative research group known as OU5. The AJODL is dedicated to the promotion of ODL, particularly in the ASEAN region.
