High schools description: The aim of the research was to study the stress level and the causes of stress among the secondary school teachers in Pasir Puteh. The contribution factors studied were students’ attitudes, workload, time constrain and appreciation given. 90 teachers participated in the survey. The data was analysed using SPSS package version 17.0. The frequency and percentage were presented in a table form. The research showed that the workload had the min score between 2.10-2.66 which was at a medium level. Time constrain had the highest min score (2.66), followed by workload ((2.58), Appreciation given (2.50) and the lowest min score was the students’ attitudes. (2.10). Therefore, The research denied all the nol hypothesis made and they were replaced by the alternative hypothesis that was there was a great significant difference in the stress level of the secondary school teachers in students’ attitude factor, workload factor, time factor and appreciation given.
