Assalamualaikum wbt and greetings dear friends,

I think most people have encountered a very bad customer service. Recently, my kids and me went looking for a pair of flat shoe for my teenage girl. We strolled along Jalan TAR in KL, went in and out of the shoe stores along the street.

At one particular store, I asked a very young salesgirl if the store has a kung-fu style shoe, or any flat canvas shoe. The girl looked at me and with an i-don’t-care face, said “tak ada”.  Thinking that she might be new or something, I said, OK and went inside the store and searched for the shoe myself.  Then I saw on a very visible shelf, the shoe that I wanted.  I picked a pair and thought maybe I can asked someone else if there are any more of the same style but softer. Then I saw another salesgirl at the back. This one is much older than the previous one. So I thought, she would be more approachable.

I walked up to her, showed the shoe and asked, “Ada lagi tak kasut yang macam ni?” To my surprise, she immediately shook her head, without even looking at me and said, “tak ada, tak ada”, and gave an annoying face!

I was struck by a numb shock! Paid for the shoe and left.

I’m pretty sure good PR is never in the job spec for these salesgirls. The duty is to just stand on the side of the shoe shelves and look bored.

Any similar experiences?

P/S: I hope we are not doing any of that sort to you but if we do, please tell us.  We will do our best to give quality services.
